Where it all started......

Chef S. Nichole is a Georgia native. She was born and raised on the Westside of Atlanta where she was exposed to poverty, drugs, abuse, and crime at an early age. Nichole's family did not have much but she always knew that she wanted more out of life than what she was born into. Cooking always fascinated her because she loved the idea of creating something from almost nothing. As an all around artistic person she fell in love with cooking while working at a local bistro in Buck-head Atlanta in 2008. It was at this local small restaurant where she was allowed to develop her passion for cooking. Nichole started as a dishwasher and quickly earned a position as a prep cook and later line cook. She decided to take her passion seriously by enrolling in the Le Cordon Bleu culinary arts program in 2010.

Nichole earned her culinary degree in 2012 and since then she has worked her way up the culinary ladder. Her hard work, persistence, and drive working in country clubs, hotels, and fine dining restaurants around Atlanta allowed her to begin cooking for some of Atlanta's most prominent and high net worth principles as a private chef. Her eagerness for new experiences and excitement for meeting new people inspired her to start her own business that would allow her to be more creative and serve more people. In 2019 she decided to start Gorgeous Green Chef.

Gorgeous Green Chef is a personal chef and catering  company that focuses on gourmet cooking with classy and professional services. Chef Nichole wants to inspire people to see the beauty in life despite any unfavorable circumstances.

"Green has many positive symbolisms. The green light means go, the leaves turn green during spring when there is renewal and growth. I believe that no matter what we face we must be bold enough to go for our dreams. Green carries the vibrations of growth, new beginnings, health, renewal, harmony, hope and peace. This is the story of my life, to go & to grow".- S. Nichole

Making a difference......

Being a vessel for service to those who are less fortunate has always been one of chef Nichole's passions. In her spare time, she enjoys serving meals to those in need and teaching kids about the importance of healthy eating habits. Many kids that grow up in poverty and low income neighborhoods do not have proper understanding of health and nutrition or how it plays a vital role in early development stages. Chef Nichole enjoys volunteering time and resources to help teach children healthy cooking techniques that they can use and grow with over time.
